Night Train Beijing-Xi’an

We had been warned that taking a train in China was going to be an adventure, that there would be Chinese spitting all over the place, chickens running around, our bags would get razored and that we would be freezing our ass off. So we prepared for the worse, and guess what… The train was SUPER! We were in the top bunk of a hard sleeper, which offered a lot of additional storage room for our bags. We were provided with really cosy blankets and there were no animals or spitting. It did leave us longin’ for a little bit of adventure though
