How to present Belgium?

This story was posted under the categories: Big Asia Trip

While we’re in Asia, we’ll be discovering their culture and their cities. But how can we bring a little bit of Belgium to Asia? Our goal is to have a small stash of objects (preferably photographs) that we can show to the people we encounter to explain what our home country is about. We want to show them that we do not all live in big Dallas-”the tv show”-style villa’s, that we don’t all drive big Mercedes and don’t eat with golden teaspoons. But we do want to show our day to day life, the resemblances and the differences with their own habits (we’re already taking a fork with us ;) ).

Tell us (using the post a reply box) what you would take to present Belgium to other people.

French fries, beer and waffles! You can’t take the real stuff with you, but perhaps a picture can already help to explain it?

Indeed, french fries and beer but also some chocolate like Galler. Perhaps a picture of one town and another of a farm with some animals :) Let them know that belgians are very friendly. A picture with some snow and the sea are also indicated :) .
