The general
concept

We worked with the Momentum Worldwide and Tool Of North America team to create a traveling experience for Coca-Cola. The experience was conceived of and designed to target a young demographic of festival attendees who are fanatics for music and love to capture and share on social.

As people passed by the activation space, they were drawn to the welcoming onboarding bar. Here, a cheery brand ambassador awaited. Armed with an iPad, they would lead them to our developed registration page. Kicking things off with a dash of fun, the registration page posed a series of questions designed to attain additional user info that would power the generative assets.

We wanted to know everything – where they hailed from, their musical mojo, and even their vibe and personality. Through a created asset delivery flow, we then returned in real-time, AI-crafted band names and album art, tailor-made just for them. With a few taps, they could cherry-pick their favorites, turning a simple registration into an immersive flow.

Bringing virtual to the physical world

Their band’s recording session was finally added to our custom-made queuing system, leading them up to the VIP rooftop where they could enjoy the view, have some selfie moments, and wait for their number to be called before making their way to the studio. This queuing number would be displayed on a TV screen, joined by their band name and album art.

The AI-recording studio

Upon tapping ‘Start’, a music visualizer would animate the screens and the music that was generated for them would blast in the studio for them to sample.  After this quick preview of their music, a countdown appears “3, 2, 1” and their performance begins.

Seeing a virtual camera boom through the Coke Studio, participants would quickly see a live preview of themselves on the screen in front of them, their green screen video keyed out, with them performing on the stage.  After the 35-second performance concludes, they could save their performance or re-record an encore.

Upon tapping ‘Save’, we finally made sure their performance was uploaded to the cloud and a unique QR code was displayed for them to save their video and share on social.
